Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and hands-on Digital Fundraising and Marketing to independently craft and deliver high-quality digital content across web, email, and social platforms. This is a doer role ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling, design, and digital engagement-and can take projects from concept through execution with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer and designer who is deeply familiar with social media trends, fluent in brand-aligned messaging, and capable of producing content that supports fundraising and engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create original graphics, layouts, and templates that align with brand standards and campaign themes for email, web and social.
- Manage and produce mission-driven web and social content that informs, inspires, and mobilizes visitors, focusing on storytelling, impact, and donor engagement.
- Create reels, animations, and motion graphics to drive performance across digital platforms.
- Analyze digital content performance to guide improvements and inform future engagement and fundraising strategies
Social Media Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement content calendars for all organizational social media channels.
- Create engaging multimedia posts and manage day-to-day posting, monitoring, and response handling.
- Track platform performance using native analytics tools and adjust content accordingly.
- Stay informed on social trends and recommend creative ways to build community and reach new audiences.
Digital Data Management
- Ensure clean, accurate digital donor and subscriber data through regular data hygiene practices.
- Manage timely uploads of subscriber and donor data across CRM, email, and fundraising platforms.
- Prepare regular performance reports to support strategic planning and campaign evaluation.
Digital Platform Fundraising and Engagement
- Leverage Facebook and Instagram fundraising tools-including donation buttons, fundraisers, and stories-to engage supporters and drive giving campaigns.
- Support SMS fundraising campaigns by crafting compelling messages, managing contact lists, and tracking performance to drive donor response and retention.
Email Fundraising and Engagement
- Manage monthly giving campaigns, new donor and subscriber welcome series, and engagement communications
- Develop interactive engagement tools such as polls, surveys, petitions, and quizzes to deepen audience involvement.
Web Content
- Develop and manage web content by producing original material, updating existing pages, and optimizing for clarity, usability (UX), and search performance (SEO).
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly landing pages designed to drive conversions, including sign-ups and donations
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or digital fundraising.
- Proven track record of setting and achieving engagement and fundraising goals.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for clarity, tone, and accuracy.
- Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience managing social media accounts and content calendars.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Portfolio of writing and design samples required.
